I once won second place in a college standup comedy contest, so at least you know I'm funnier than the guy in third place.

I've always been someone who seeks out strange opportunities. In college, I formed an improv group. I started a series of psychedelic rock bands while working at an alt-weekly newspaper. I've interviewed hypnotists, luthiers, sex educators, ghost hunters — artists of all kinds. I'm always looking for the beauty in between that's right in front of our eyes. So that's all to say, I have eight years of experience and success in journalism, advertising, and marketing. I look forward to more strange opportunities.

When I'm not writing headlines, I like sampling the many tasty cuisines of ATX with my wife and playing shows with my band, Nite Visions.
